Groove City is San Antonio’s favorite variety dance band.  For corporate events, conventions, parties, or any style wedding reception, our goal is to create a party that is elegant, festive and polished.  Our music encourages an atmosphere of celebration, dancing and enthusiasm.  We are a San Antonio based band that delivers superb musical artistry combined with the professionalism and service you expect.  

There is something for everyone on your guest list.  We play the best and most popular hits from across the decades.  Our wide variety of styles includes Jazz, Rock, Pop, Top 40, 80’s, Motown, Disco, Oldies, Latin, Country, Swing, Big Band and all-time favorites.  Our music in Spanish includes cumbia, salsa and merengue.

Groove City is composed of versatile, degreed professional musicians from different musical and cultural backgrounds.  We will work directly with you and/or your event planner to select the music that best fits your style and tastes, and to incorporate your special requests or cultural traditions.  Groove City has a large repertoire of songs in English and in Spanish.  Our musicians perform live, without the use of any background tracks.
